Tag
I needed a large tag today and came up with this.
I have stamped directly onto some vintage paper. The woman is stamped in Ranger Black Archival ink and the swirl in Dusty Concord Distress ink. The patterned papers are glued on afterwards and finshed with rows of stitched beads. I have embellished further with chipboard hearts covered with patterned paper and have glued some micro beads onto the larger one. All stamps and inks are vailable from The Artistic Stamper

Roaring Twenties
Here is another submission for Gingersnap Challenges. I've stuck to my favourite lady from the roaring twenties plate by The Artistic Stamper to make this birthday card which has a romantic feel yet again!

Romance Continues
It's Gingersnap challenge time again and this week's Romance theme is colour 'anything but pink and red'.
The 'Roaring Twenties' certainly conjour up romance and The Artistic Stamper's 'flappers' combined with a few hearts and a fabulous sequin waste background stamp give these ATCs a romantic feel.

Gingersnap
This is my take on the latest Gingersnap Creations challenge which is, of course, ROMANCE
This little 'chocolate treat bag' is made using fabulous new stamps from The Artistic Stamper. They are sponsering Gingersnap this month so hop on over and take a look at the Gingersnap blog for some gorgeous projects using these great stamps. The template for this treat bag can be found at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/treatbagcover.

Pink and White
Once again I have used my favourite flower stamps from The Artistic Stamper to make this 'quick' card. The stamps are from The 'flower power' sheet. Suitable for most occasions the flowers are simply stamped and embossed onto patterned paper, cut out and mounted

Mabel Lucie Atwell
Here's another card using one of the lovely Mabel Lucie Atwell stamps from The Artistic Stamper. The stamped image is partly coloured with markers and partly paper pieced.

I used a sketch from The Pink Elephant challenge blog. Because the patterned papers are Baisc Grey I guess this also meets the requirements for their recent colour challenge Cream, Pink and Blue

Friendly Flowers
Here is a card I made yesterday on a very beautiful New Years day here in the UK - frost and sunshine - and it looks like being the same today. The flowers are stamped, embossed and cut out. The stamp used is from The Artistic Stamper Design Essentials range - check them out - these plates of unmounted stamps are so useful. I have stitched beads in the centre of each flower to embellish.
The sentiment can be computer generated.

Burnt Orange
I love making ATCs. These are for a colour themed challenge - orange - definately not my favourite colour to work with! However choosing a burnt orange and toning it down further with stamping and text seems to work. All stamps used are from The Artistic Stamper. I have used a text stamp with rust ink on the coloured paper and then overstamped this with part of a flouish stamp around the edges in black. Most of the flourish stamp is used again on the bird ATC to act as a branch, again in black. The bird and the butterflies are stamped on the cards with black ink and then again on a book page. These are then cut out and paper pieced (one of my favourite techniques) over the original images. Edges are sponged with Black Soot distress ink and a few 'jewels' added to accent.

Pixie Baby
Inspired by Chris the other day I came up with this banner using some patterned papers that I have had for years and one of the lovely new Mabel Lucie Attwell stamps from The Artistic Stamper. A bit of embossing (clear powder on black Brilliance ink), colouring and machine stitching produced a decoration for any little girls room.

Christmas Again
Have managed another Christmas card this morning using a new Mabel Lucie Attwell stamp from The Artistic Stamper. Have a look at these cute little pixies.
This card mixes purchased pattern paper and some stamped. The swirls in the centre panel are from Artistic Stamper's Flourished Swirls plate and the polka dots are from their Design Essentials range. The pixie is stamped with chocolate Brilliance ink and heat embossed with clear powder, water coloured, cut out and mounted with sticky dots. Some computer text, stitching and ribbon finish this card off!

Christmas is Coming
Hope you like this 'creation'. The plan this year was to make all my own Christmas cards but I think I have left it a little late! Oh well - maybe a few people will get the handmade look.
This card is made with Baisc Grey Wassail paper and a beautiful Christmas stamp from The Artistic Stamper. Other items used include an edge punch, a pine branch punch and some small beads and brads.

Mabel Lucie Atwell
Card and art making has been a little slow for the last week or two, but I am still playing with the gorgeous Artistic Stamper collections. This card is made with a stamp from the Mabel Lucie Attwell range. Embossed with black the image is water coloured using distress inks and then mounted and layered with patterned papers from Basic Grey (Wisteria). A bit of machine sewing, some Primas, ribbon and a border punch complete the look.

Essential Flowers
This card is made using a Design Essentials plate from The Artistic Stamper. The flowers on this plate are VERY versatile. I love them.
Flowers are stamped in black, clear embossed then cut out and layered as shown. The red card at the bottom is stamped with white and black inks. The white strip has computer generated 'Happy Birthday' and its border is made using a Fiskars edge punch. The top white strip uses the cuttlebug 'dots' folder to add some texture.
