Art From The Heart Workshop

I just got back from fab two days at Dyan's Art From The Heart where I took a journaling workshop with the wonderful Dina Wakley (all the way from USA!). Everyone was lovely and there were a couple of 'famous' bloggers there too! Check out Sue's blog and Sarah's!

Dina was lovely - very encouraging and generous with her knowledge and comments.

Here's what I produced on the first day although none are finished yet - they will be though - I LOVED this class.

Unfortuntely the colours have not photographed great - they are more intense in real life.

Roaring Twenties

Here is another submission for Gingersnap Challenges. I've stuck to my favourite lady from the roaring twenties plate by The Artistic Stamper to make this birthday card which has a romantic feel yet again!

Romance Continues

It's Gingersnap challenge time again and this week's Romance theme is colour 'anything but pink and red'.

The 'Roaring Twenties' certainly conjour up romance and The Artistic Stamper's 'flappers' combined with a few hearts and a fabulous sequin waste background stamp give these ATCs a romantic feel.

Collaborative Book

I am involved in a Collaborative Paperbag Book swap where participants make 24 pages 4.75"x4.75" (12 each of two different designs). These will be swapped out with the paperbags and made into books. The theme is nature and these are my pages (I seem to have my own theme - trees - going here).
